⁴⁴ Let these words sink down into your ears: the time will come when the Son of man will be delivered into the hands of men. ⁴⁵ But they did not comprehend what that saying meant. It was hid from them, so that they did not understand it. And they were afraid to ask him about it.

⁴⁶ Then there arose a dispute among them, who should be the greatest.
